Yahoo Harassment

YAHOO HARASSMENT!

(Posted Monday 12-19-2005) I opened up a Rocketmail email account in the summer of 1997 when I lived in HI. I loved my account but a few years later yahoo became the ISP provider for that service if that makes sense. About a year ago I started to check off the SPAM emails that came into my inbox daily and then click on the SPAM icon at the top of my email account. I thought I was doing a GOOD thing but I wasn't. Over the past month every email that I now send out I have to type in a string of numbers and letters BEFORE it will even be sent. DO YOU KNOW HOW ANNOYING THAT IS? What a pile of shit, its like 'I AM THE ONE BEING HARASSED' for trying to help Yahoo track down spammers.

I know many other Yahoo email users and no one that I know of has gone through this for as long as I have. As much as I hate spammers, take my advice and don't even bother helping Yahoo out by checking off the email that is spam and sending it to them, they treat you like the spammer and not the other way around.

I like what Robert S. Baratz, M.D., D.D.S., Ph.D. has said in the following link. I even emailed Yahoo FOUR times in the space of two weeks and got a pathetic automated reply, like he explains on his webpage here:

UPDATE: Sunday 03-26-2006. I posted this message over THREE MONTHS ago. Every fucking day I still have to fill in a STRING of numbers and letters after nearly EVERY EMAIL that I send out. Talk about pure fucking harassment! I have the same IP address on my computer. 99% of the emails that I am sending out are from my "OWN email address book" anyway. Yet, I still have to fill in a string of numbers before I can send out each email. I only wish there was some kind of lawsuit that could be filed against this company for this kind of crap and that it involved thousands of others like me. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there. I tell ya, I'd be the first in line to sign my name. It's wrong; It's harassment and I can find no other words to use for it.

Thanks for your reading, Johnny Anderson.
